樂團首席

葉翹任

小提琴家葉翹任為現任高雄市交響樂團首席。自2011年起擔任高雄市交響樂團副首席一職至2024年，演出經驗豐富，曾多次以代理首席身分與國際知名大師同台演出，包括鋼琴家波哥雷里奇、陳毓襄及角野隼斗，小提琴家諏訪內晶子、胡乃元、林品任及魏靖儀，大提琴家堤剛、馮勇智及格哈德等。於2005年義大利Lipizer國際小提琴比賽榮獲最佳巴赫詮釋獎，並曾於Greater Kansas City Philharmonic及Naftzger弦樂比賽獲得第一名。除了曾多次在國內外舉辦個人獨奏會外，也曾與Romania Philharmonic、Greater Kansas City Philharmonic、Kansas University Symphony、新逸交響樂團、巴洛克獨奏家樂團及高雄市交響樂團合作演出協奏曲。2022年與巴洛克獨奏家樂團合作錄製『巴赫D靈感』專輯，榮獲第34屆傳藝金曲獎出版類最佳錄音獎。室內樂曾獲邀於Norfolk、Yellow Barn、The Quartet Program及IMAI等知名室內樂音樂節演出，亦曾受教於著名的前東京四重奏。

自幼依序師事黃師克、曲靜澎、沈志芸、謝中平、黃輔棠及簡名彥等師，奠定良好的基礎。十四歲赴美繼續深造，先後獲獎學金於美國新英格蘭音樂院取得小提琴學士及碩士，堪薩斯大學取得小提琴演奏博士學位。留學期間曾多次擔任樂團首席，師事Meyer Stolov、 Eric Rosenblith 及Ben Sayevich等教授。自校畢業後，曾擔任Dickinson College客座小提琴專任助理教授，並獲邀至賓州州立大學、東伊利諾大學、俄亥俄大學、西肯德基大學等校給予大師班授課及獨奏會。

樂團演出之餘亦熱衷於室內樂推廣及小提琴教學。現亦任教於國立高雄師範大學、國立中山大學及高雄地區國高中音樂班。

Chiau-Ren Yeh

Recently appointed as the Concertmaster of the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Yeh has shared the stage with world’s leading artists including pianists Rudolf Buchbinder, Ivo Pogorelich, Hayato Sumino; violinists Akiko Suwanai, Anne Akiko Meyers, Vadim Repin, Nai-Yuan Hu, William Wei, Richard Lin; cellists Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Alban Gerhardt, Zlatomir Fung, among others. A laureate of the 2005 Lipizer International Violin Competition, Yeh has performed as a soloist with the Romania Philharmonic, the Baroque Camerata, the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, the Kaohsiung Wind Band, Hsin-Yi Symphony Orchestra, the Greater Kansas City Philharmonic, and the Kaohsiung Youth Chinese Orchestra. In 2022, Mr. Yeh collaborated with the Baroque Camerata to record the album <L’inspiration de Bach>, and won the “Best Recording” award at the traditional division of the 34^th Golden Melody Award. A chamber music enthusiast, Yeh had performed in Norfolk, Yellow Barn, the Quartet Program, and the International Musical Arts Institute.

As an active pedagogue, Mr. Yeh currently teaches at the National Kaohsiung Normal University and the National Sun Yat Sen University, and music programs in the Kaohsiung area.
