張恆碩

現任高雄市交響樂團首席。

台東市人，六歲啟蒙於蔡文河老師；七歲起跟隨姚元老師學習。十歲獲得台灣區音樂比賽小提琴獨奏兒童組第一名。2005年赴美深造，之後以全額獎學金分別就讀Colburn School音樂院大學部，以及耶魯大學音樂院碩士班，曾數次以全額獎學金參與國際知名的亞斯本音樂節。 

被知名小提琴家瑞秋．巴頓．派恩(Rachel Barton Pine)以「風格多變⋯ 非常令人振奮且富音樂性的琴音」讚譽；百老匯世界網站則以「純熟的技巧以及極高的靈敏度」形容其演奏。2013年考取芝加哥公民交響樂團首席，並曾在壇格塢音樂節擔任75周年慶音樂會之樂團首席；2015年考上邁阿密的新世界交響樂團。 曾與世界級獨奏家陳銳、馬友友、白建宇等人同台演出室內樂。

學成歸國後，2017年從國防部示範樂隊退伍，隨後考入灣聲樂團擔任樂團助理首席，並數次受邀參與國內外多項演出。合作音樂家包含金曲獎得主李哲藝、李宜錦、蘇孟風；鋼琴家廖皎含、陳芝羽、徐嘉琪；大提琴家呂超倫、高炳坤、戴俐文；吉他演奏家蔡世鴻⋯ 等。

張恆碩曾擔任台北市立交響樂團、NSO國家交響樂團、澳門樂團之客席首席。至今持續以獨奏、室內樂、樂團、協奏曲、大師班… 等形式，活躍於全台。

Praised by Broadway World online review as “technically proficient... with great sensitivity” and described by violinist Rachel Barton Pine as “electric... very exciting and musical,” Taiwanese violinist Hen-Shuo (Steven) Chang began his violin studies at the age of six. At ten, he won First Prize in the All Taiwanese Youth Violin Solo Competition.

An avid chamber and orchestral musician, Steven has worked with eminent conductors such as Andris Nelsons, Jaap van Zweden, and Riccardo Muti. His chamber music appearances include live performance with cellist Yo-Yo Ma at the WFMT radio station in Chicago and collaboration with renowned musicians such as violist Paul Coletti, pianist John Perry, and violinist Ray Chen. Steven has performed in concerts at Zipper Hall in Los Angeles, Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood Music Center, and Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, among others.

Steven currently resides in Taiwan. In 2019, he performed as guest concertmaster in the Taipei Symphony Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra (Taiwan Philharmonic) at the National Concert Hall in Taipei. He joined the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra as assistant concertmaster in February 2020 and later won the concertmaster audition in January, 2025.
